Amdocs and Oracle Extend Global Collaboration for Communications Cloud Transition

Share

Amdocs and Oracle announced an expansion of their global partnership today, aiming to assist the communications and media sector's shift to cloud-based solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The extended collaboration aims to help service providers transition their traditional Amdocs applications to OCI, the companies said. This shift is anticipated to allow providers to offer unique cloud-based services that promote growth and foster customer commitment by ensuring quick and scalable interactions.

The integration of Amdocs’ software with OCI's cloud platform is projected to boost operational efficiency, adaptability, and innovation, Oracle said in a prepared statement. Furthermore, Amdocs users will have the option to select services from Oracle’s 45 public cloud regions or the OCI Dedicated Region, designed to meet requirements related to data residence, sovereignty, and other security and privacy concerns.

Joint Strategy for Comprehensive Support and Services

Both companies, as part of their joint approach to market, say they will focus on providing complete assistance and services.

These services aim to ensure smooth cloud migrations, enhance operational performance, and unveil new business prospects for their clientele.
