Accenture Acquires Cybersecurity Consultancy 6point6

In a strategic move to bolster its technology services, Accenture has completed the acquisition of 6point6, a U.K.-based technology consultancy specializing in cloud, data, and cybersecurity. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Impact and Future Prospects Post-Acquisition

Announced previously on October 31, 2023, this acquisition aims to strengthen Accenture’s capabilities in strategy and architecture, particularly in sectors such as central government, defense, security, and financial services. 

The integration of 6point6's team into Accenture is expected to significantly enhance the latter's service offerings, enabling it to meet the complex technology needs of its U.K. clients more effectively, according to the company.
