7. Oracle Cloud Leader?: When Oracle President Thomas Kurian resigned on September 28, the technology giant did not name a specific successor for Kurian's cloud responsibilities. That begs the question: Is this person now running Oracle Cloud?
6. Partnership - Training: Red Hat has named Tech Data's ExitCertified training and education solutions business as the Red Hat Premier Training Partner of the Year for 2018.
5. Data Centers: DC BLOX, an Atlanta-based provider of data centers, network and cloud services at the edge, has opened a data center in Huntsville, Alabama. On final buildout, the entire facility will deliver 46,000 square feet of data hall space and up to 15MW of IT power. All of DC BLOX’s data centers offer colocation, network and cloud storage services.
4. MSP Acquisition: Hilltop Consultants, a Top 100 Vertical Market MSP, today is expected to publicly announce another MSP acquisition in the legal vertical. Hilltop President Jim Turner shared these details with ChannelE2E.
