PE-Backed Atech Acquires Microsoft Partner IMEX Technical Services

Atech, backed by private equity firm Pelican Capital, has acquired IMEX Technical Services, a British MSP and Microsoft partner. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1999, IMEX is one of the UK’s first Microsoft Gold partners. The company is headquartered in Swindon, Wiltshire, UK.

The deal is Atech’s first since securing a £10 million (US$12.7 million) investment from Pelican Capital in February 2022.

Atech provides cloud-based workplace solutions. The company says the acquisition of IMEX will bolster its existing consulting and service teams. Atech works with a range of private sectors including legal, manufacturing, finance and retail.
