Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. has acquired TLS.NET, an MSP focused on cloud, security and voice telephony services. It sounds like TLS.NET will become part of Konica's well-known MSP business -- All Covered. Financial terms were not disclosed.TLS.NET, based in Columbus, Indiana, offers such IT services as:Cloud services -- disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS); voice solutions -- hosted PBXes/HD phone systems and SIP trunking; managed IT services -- Infrastructure performance and security evaluations, help desk, and various remote monitoring and security services; and network engineering services. Konica Minolta has been a long-term buyer in the MSP market. The key move involved acquiring All Covered in 2011. Since that time, Konica and All Covered have snapped up additional MSPs and other companies based on a range of opportunities -- including geographic reach, vertical market know-how, specialized applications and cloud services expertise.
