New HP Managed Print Services Sold Direct

Share

HP Inc. has introduced global Managed Print Cloud Services initiatives for enterprises and SMB (small and midsize business) customers. For this particular announcement, HP is selling the solutions direct and not through the channel, a company spokesperson confirmed to ChannelE2E.

The managed print effort includes a commitment to support Universal Print, a Microsoft 365 cloud print service. Also, HP enhanced an online portal to allow remote workers to "easily acquire printers and supplies."

The HP managed print services direct sales push surfaces one week after HP announced its new Aplify partner program.

The new Amplify program will officially go into effect on a global scale (with the exception of China) on November 1, 2020, at which time all commercial partners will transition to the new program. Retail partners will be transitioned to the program in 2H21 and tracks may vary, HP says.
