Socure, Baselayer Partner on Business Identity Verification

Socure is teaming up with Baselayer to bring expanded business verification and fraud detection to its RiskOS platform. Baselayer’s network of fraud and risk data, sourced from more than 2,200 financial institutions, will be embedded into RiskOS workflows. The integration is designed to help organizations onboard legitimate businesses faster while filtering out fraudulent applications earlier in the process.

RiskOS already supports over 85 pre-integrated services, giving customers flexibility to build real-time decisioning workflows. Adding Baselayer’s high-fidelity data strengthens Socure’s know-your-business (KYB) capabilities and expands access to one of the most comprehensive business verification datasets in the market. Socure says the combined intelligence now touches roughly 40% of the U.S. financial services sector, enabling earlier fraud detection, reduced false positives, and more automation in complex onboarding.

The partnership is expected to deliver measurable benefits across multiple industries. Banks and lenders can speed up KYB and underwriting with higher auto-approval rates, fintechs can reduce promotional abuse and duplicate account creation, and marketplaces can more efficiently verify sellers and service providers at scale. Government agencies may also use the integration to streamline grant disbursement and contract vetting through unified business and UBO checks.

For Socure, the Baselayer collaboration marks another expansion of the RiskOS partner ecosystem. By continuing to integrate specialized third-party data services, the company aims to give customers a single, flexible API for business identity, fraud prevention, and compliance needs - helping them capture revenue faster while managing risk more effectively.
