Sherweb Expands Into UK MSP Market

Sherweb is expanding its operations into the United Kingdom as part of a broader effort to support managed service providers outside North America. The Canadian cloud marketplace and services provider has worked with MSPs for nearly three decades, helping partners manage cloud licensing, cybersecurity tools, and IT services through a centralized platform. With the UK expansion, the company is targeting a market of more than 11,000 MSPs, many of which serve small and mid-size businesses and are navigating growing operational and technology demands.

The move builds on Sherweb’s acquisition of MicroWarehouse in Ireland last year, which gave the company an initial foothold in the region. Since then, Sherweb has been developing a presence across the UK and Ireland, including partnerships with vendors such as Huntress. The company is now establishing teams on the ground to work directly with partners in the region and adapt its marketplace, services, and partner programs to the needs of local MSPs.

The expansion is aimed at helping MSPs manage the growing number of platforms and services required to support modern customers. Many smaller MSPs are dealing with increasing pressure to support cybersecurity, cloud migration, and emerging technologies while also keeping pace with vendor program changes and regulatory requirements. Sherweb plans to combine its marketplace offerings with advisory support, training, and operational guidance intended to help partners build and scale their service portfolios.

The company is also introducing programs designed to help MSPs adapt to industry shifts, including changes in Microsoft’s cloud partner ecosystem and the growing interest in AI-related services. Alongside these initiatives, Sherweb recently launched a self-service portal for end customers and expanded programs focused on partner enablement. The UK expansion signals Sherweb’s intention to deepen its role in the MSP ecosystem by offering both technology distribution and operational support as partners adapt to new service models.
