As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more embedded across business operations, Pax8 is positioning MSPs to evolve into Managed Intelligence Providers (MIPs), entities that guide businesses through AI adoption, agent-based automation, and rapid innovation cycles, according to Channel Futures.

According to Pax8’s report, The Agentic Inflection Point, autonomous agents will increasingly collaborate with human expertise to shorten the gap between idea and execution. This shift is expected to enable smaller businesses to scale more effectively and develop advanced tools previously reserved for large enterprises. Pax8 believes that MSPs are uniquely positioned to lead this shift, given their existing trust-based relationships with customers.

To support this transition, Pax8 is building a Managed Intelligence Toolkit, expected to launch next year. The toolkit will integrate AI agents, including Microsoft Copilot, directly into the Pax8 Marketplace. The marketplace itself is also evolving into a platform where partners can build, buy, and scale AI agents—creating a new channel opportunity focused on automation, governance, and curated solutions.

Pax8 also announced updates to its partner engagement programs. A new Partner Voice Network will enable MSPs to benchmark and share experiences, while changes to the Partner Advisory Council aim to broaden participation and feedback. These updates, along with a revamped community experience team, signal Pax8’s broader effort to align partner strategy with the demands of the AI-driven future.
