Databricks Secures Series K Funding at $100B Valuation

Databricks has signed a term sheet for its Series K funding round, which values the company at more than $100 billion. The round is expected to close soon with support from existing investors. The new capital will fuel product development, AI research, and global expansion.

A major focus of the investment will be on Agent Bricks, the company’s recently launched platform for building production-grade AI agents trained on enterprise data. Databricks is also putting resources into Lakebase, its operational database built on open source Postgres and designed for AI workloads. Together, these products signal the company’s intent to shape how enterprises move from managing data to deploying AI agents at scale.

The raise builds on strong momentum. In recent quarters, Databricks has rolled out partnerships with Microsoft, Google Cloud, Anthropic, SAP, and Palantir. Its Data Intelligence Platform now serves more than 15,000 customers worldwide, helping them streamline analytics and AI adoption across industries. The company positions its platform as a way for organizations to increase revenue, reduce costs, and manage risk through smarter use of their data.

With this latest round, Databricks is reinforcing its role at the center of the AI and data ecosystem. Beyond product innovation, the company is likely to use the funding to pursue acquisitions and deepen its AI research, keeping pace with the rising demand for enterprise-ready AI tools. The $100 billion valuation reflects both investor confidence and the scale of opportunity Databricks is chasing as enterprises shift from experimenting with AI to embedding it in daily operations.
