Active Security and ZeroTier Team Up on Secure Networking

Active Security has partnered with ZeroTier to bring secure, software-defined networking to defense, federal, and enterprise clients that rely on fast, real-time operations. The partnership grew out of real field deployments where Active Security used ZeroTier to stream high-quality video from operational sensors to teams around the world, even across mixed networks like cellular, satellite, and fiber.

In those deployments, Active Security built a dedicated software-defined network on ZeroTier’s platform to handle live HD video with low delay. The setup stayed steady during spikes in usage and shifts in network quality, giving teams the consistent visibility they needed. It also helped solve common issues for distributed environments, like long setup times, network gaps, and the need for strong security that doesn’t slow performance.

The combined solution has already connected more than 50 operational technology devices across several events. It delivered continuous, uninterrupted video and adapted in real time as conditions changed.
