Terry Swanson has been named president and CEO of OneNeck IT Solutions, a well-known MSP and hybrid IT solutions provider. Swanson succeeds Phil LaForge, an MSP and IT services industry pioneer who also held key posts at CA Technologies and the former Nimsoft.

“This is a change in leadership, not a change in strategy,” Swanson said in a prepared statement. “We have a long-term strategic plan and vision for OneNeck. Under my leadership, I will ensure it is carried forward along with the continued delivery of innovative hybrid IT solutions that support our customer’s mission-critical business processes.”

"It has been an amazing run as CEO of OneNeck IT Solutions," LaForge stated via LinkedIn a few days ago. "Today, I happily pass the leadership baton to my good friend Terry Swanson. Terry is the absolute best person to take OneNeck to the next level of excellence. Congrats to Terry and thanks to all my OneNeck coworkers for doing consistently brilliant work on behalf of our customers." ChannelE2E has reached out to LaForge for comment about next potential career moves.

Swanson joined OneNeck in 2011. At that time, he led two of OneNeck’s subsidiary companies as CEO. Over the years, as the company grew, and the subsidiaries unified to become OneNeck IT Solutions, Swanson held a number of positions. Most recently, he served as the senior vice president of sales and marketing, the company said. Prior to joining OneNeck, Swanson held various positions at CDW Corp., Cisco Systems Inc., 3Com Corp. and IBM.

OneNeck IT Solutions offers a suite of hybrid IT solutions including cloud and hosting solutions, managed services, ERP application management, professional services and IT hardware. The company has roughly 550 employees, along with various facilities and data centers in Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
