MacAulay-Brown Acquires Enlighten IT Consulting for Government Cybersecurity

MacAulay-Brown Inc. (MacB) has acquired Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), which will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the government-focused cybersecurity specialist. Financial terms were not disclosed.

MacB, based in Vienna, Va.., is an advanced engineering, cybersecurity, and product solutions company that serves the defense, intelligence, and Homeland Security markets. The company has roughly 1,500 employees.

EITC, based in Linthicum Heights, Md., has a platform that helps the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies to combat combat cyberattacks, the two companies say.

MacB and EITC will collaborate to deliver a "portfolio of cyber security services and tools and its Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework (RADMF) at a larger scale and at a faster pace," the two companies add.

EITC CEO Shawn Justice will report to MacB President and CEO Sid Fuchs. Bluestone Capital Partners advised EITC on the deal.
