Pulseway Bolsters RMM, PSA for MSPs; Intros New Pricing

Pulseway is striving to push deeper into the MSP software arena by aggressively pricing its core RMM (remote monitoring and management) and PSA (professional services automation) solutions.

The Dublin, Ireland-based company has introduced new RMM pricing for both MSPs and enterprise IT shops. It says that means MSPs can provide services at a lower cost and increase income, while enterprises will be able to maximize efficiency and get a greater return on their investment.

In an email to ChannelE2E, Pulseway says both instances are pay-as-you-go with no minimum entry points, set up fees, or maintenance fees.

Each of the offering's three tiers can be had for under US$4.00 a month. The Pro Edition, which is aimed at enterprise IT professionals, can monitor and manage up to 50 endpoints, the company asserts. The Team Edition is also designed for enterprise-level companies, while the MSP Edition is designed specifically for, you guessed it, MSPs.

Additional Offerings

MSPs can add additional remote desktops for $15 per month per instance, and Pulseway PSA for $20 a month for each user, the company says.

The pricing updates follow Pulseway’s recent unveiling of its NOC (network operations center) service for MSPs. Prior to that, the company launched its mobile- and cloud-first RMM (remote monitoring and management) software. Dell and Canon are among the roughly 3,000 corporations using Pulseway’s software for IT management.

The company also introduced Network Discovery and Automatic Deployment, which allows for a more nuanced monitoring of a user’s entire IT network.

Taking On The Big Five?

Pulseway is striving to compete against the big five MSP software providers, which includes Autotask, ConnectWise, Continuum, Kaseya, and SolarWinds MSP. Although each of those five companies is privately held, anecdotal evidence suggests they're each growing in various ways -- either from RMM and PSA or NOC and BDR (backup and disaster recovery) services. Actual product lines vary from company to company.
