Office Equipment MSP M&A: Loffler Acquires Copier Business Solutions

Loffler Companies has acquired Copier Business Solutions, essentially uniting two Minnesota-based office equipment resellers that have moved aggressively into voice, IT, workflow and managed print services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“Copier Business Solutions has a 30-year history of superior sales and service, so it makes sense to bring together two very strong industry leaders,” said Jim Loffler, president and CEO, Loffler Companies, in a prepared statement. “Combining with Copier Business Solutions will allow us to expand our market knowledge, client base and our services geographical range. I am confident that the synergy created by our united teams will allow us to fulfill our mission of exceeding the expectations of our clients, employees, partners and communities.”

Loffler has been in serious growth mode. The company's 2015 revenue hit $94.1 million, representing a three-year-growth rate of 56 percent, according to the Inc. 5000 list for 2016. I don't know what percentage of that growth involves organic growth vs. M&A growth (if any).
