Good evening, channel partners. In tonight's podcast (Episode 049), Continuum CEO Michael George makes the case for public clouds outpacing private clouds for overall data security. His reasoning involves the economies of scale -- and the resulting IT expertise -- that massive public cloud providers now enjoy.

George and I spoke on Oct. 21 -- a day before former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's testimony on the 2012 Benghazi attack, and the lingering questions about the security of her personal email server.

George isn't alone on his public cloud security beliefs. In recent days, U.S. CIO Tony Scott publicly stated that public cloud providers are best positioned to address security since IT and data management are their core businesses.
