Six months after launching a suite of managed AI services for enterprises, global services vendor Thrive is now adding a new "Managed AI Workspace," where enterprises have access to 58 large language models (LLMs) in one destination so they can find the best ones to use for their businesses. The newly added services aim to give companies broad flexibility as they use LLMs in their work, while also delivering governance and security in a single environment managed by Thrive, according to the company.Thrive, which provides AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT managed services, began offering its line of managed AI services in September 2025.Also unveiled by Thrive is a separate Managed Microsoft 365 Copilot offering that uses only Microsoft 365 Copilot, giving businesses a single-option choice that provides controlled rollout, guidance on permission hygiene, and operational support embedded within Microsoft applications. The two new products can be used independently or together, according to Thrive."Our previous release was really just OpenAI models inside of Microsoft Azure, and we got a lot of feedback from customers coming to us and saying they wanted to see all the [LLM] flavors," Michael Gray, chief technology officer at Thrive, told ChannelE2E. "That is not a business problem. That is a personal preference."And personal preferences are what businesses are hearing from their developers and employees who are using LLMs, he said. So instead of choosing one LLM to suit all needs across a company, it turns out that multiple models might be required and requested."Let's say that you are an organization that manufactures furniture," said Gray. "Well, believe it or not, they want to use Google Nano Banana [to create images of your furniture]. You have a real business need. But your finance team wants to use Claude for all the things that Claude is really good at doing."With Thrive's Managed AI Workspace offering, companies can try and use multiple models in different ways without having to choose just one for all of their operations, said Gray."At the end of the day, when you take a step back from this, there's a big education problem, and we realize we need to educate people on why there are so many models and what they all do," said Gray. "From a go-to-market standpoint, we took away the brand-name aspect of the conversation. We said, 'Let's concentrate on what this can do for your business, not which model is best.' We still want to have that conversation, but it was basically slowing people down from making the decision to start adopting AI."One problem in the industry today is that some vendors are starting out with customers by presenting advanced use cases, rather than focusing on how to get started with AI, said Gray.Instead, many customers want to take a step back and get more basic information to learn about AI and its adoption, he said. One of the benefits of the new Managed AI Workspace is that it provides businesses with a corporate deployment of all 58 LLMs without having to pick and choose from them, said Gray.In addition, Thrive's managed AI options for customers include hands-on help from Thrive employees as they begin using AI and LLMs for their businesses."That is the key differentiator," said Gray. "We have dedicated employees that onboard them through the process, and they start with very basic adoption."That means teaching customers how to ask the right questions of AI, how to use prompts, how to solve business problems, and how to select the right model, he said."This is one of the things that we really encourage," said Gray. "And it is really pushing people faster because the tool will tell you what to do, since it knows all the models."Customers and channel partners have been asking for help with these issues, he added."It is a dominant part of the conversation," said Gray. "It is not [yet] a dominant part of the revenue, but this is what they want to talk about. Yes, they need security, yes, they need managed infrastructure. But what they want to talk about is AI."
