Syncro and ThreatDown Partner to Simplify Security for MSPs

Business handshake dissolving into digital data streams, symbolizing trade agreements in the era of technology

Managed Service Providers (MSPs) are under pressure to deliver stronger security services to clients while keeping operations lean. The challenge isn’t just the technology itself - it’s the logistics. Every new security vendor often brings its own portal, its own billing process, and its own administrative demands. Over time, this fragmentation eats into margins and distracts teams from higher-value work.

Syncro and ThreatDown are taking aim at that problem with a new partnership that brings ThreatDown’s security portfolio into the Syncro Marketplace. The goal is to make it easier for MSPs to purchase, deploy, and bill for advanced security solutions through a single, integrated workflow.

One Marketplace, One Bill

Instead of juggling multiple portals and invoices, MSPs can now purchase ThreatDown products directly within the Syncro Marketplace. Provisioning is immediate, and all charges flow into Syncro’s Universal Billing model. Each license is automatically mapped and invoiced to the correct customer, removing the need for month-end reconciliation or spreadsheet tracking. For MSPs who manage dozens or even hundreds of clients, this level of automation means meaningful time savings. It also reduces the risk of billing errors that can cut into profitability or strain client relationships.

Security Built for Choice

The partnership opens access to the full range of ThreatDown’s offerings, including endpoint detection and response, managed detection and response, managed threat hunting, endpoint protection, email security, DNS filtering, mobile security, application block, patch management, and vulnerability assessment. By making this portfolio available through the Syncro Marketplace, MSPs gain the ability to select the right mix of services for each client. Some may prefer to stay hands-on with tools like endpoint detection or patch management, while others may want the assurance of ThreatDown’s managed services, where experienced analysts monitor and respond to threats on their behalf. The integration allows MSPs to adapt their approach based on client size, industry, or internal resources without adding operational friction.

Why This Partnership Matters

Security has become one of the most important areas of growth for MSPs, yet many small and midsized businesses expect enterprise-level protection without the complexity that usually comes with it. The Syncro–ThreatDown partnership addresses this gap by lowering the barriers to adoption. For MSPs, it delivers operational simplicity through consolidated billing and provisioning, while giving them the flexibility to either deliver services directly or lean on ThreatDown’s managed expertise. For clients, it provides faster access to proven protections and greater confidence that their MSP can keep pace with an evolving threat landscape.

By taking away the administrative overhead, the integration allows MSPs to spend more time building value for clients and less time reconciling accounts or managing multiple vendor relationships. The partnership is less about adding another tool to the stack and more about making the business of security easier to deliver at scale.
