Onica, a Top 50 MSP focused on Amazon Web Services, has raised $20 million to accelerate the company's cloud services practice. Onica, formerly named CorpInfo, will also phase out its legacy consulting business.

“This investment will allow Onica to continue to expand sales, marketing, and delivery resources globally, and to accelerate our development of technology solutions that bring operational excellence to the enterprise cloud journey,” CEO Stephen Garden said in a prepared statement.

Onica joined the AWS Partner Network (APN) in 2013 under Garden’s leadership. The company has since completed more than 400 AWS engagements and now boasts over 150 AWS certifications with customers spending over $100 million a year on the cloud, Onica asserts.

Among the company's key areas of focus: AWS cloud management, migration services, DevOps automation, security and compliance, big data and analytics, Microsoft on AWS, and more. Onica's roots stretch back to 1983, but the company has focused mainly on AWS the past four years.

In addition to ranking among the Top 50 MSPs for AWS, Onica ranked No. 48 in our Top 100 Vertical Market MSP for 2017, according to ChannelE2E's research.
