Onepath has acquired Paradigm Computer Consulting, a respected managed IT services provider that has clientele across New England, Ohio and Florida, the companies have confirmed to ChannelE2E.

Paradigm has been a growth story in recent years. The company ranked No. 2478 on the Inc. 5000 list for 2016 -- which profiles the nation's fastest-growing privately held companies. Paradigm revenues were $3.9 million at the end of 2015, according to Inc., and the business's compound annual growth rate (CAGR) was 144 percent over a three-year period at that time, the report said. More recent data about the company has not been published.

In addition to Paradigm's key regional footprints, the deal further strengthens parent Onepath's expertise in the legal, financial services and healthcare verticals, according to MJ Shoer, Director, Client Engagement & vCIO, Onepath.

This is the latest in a growing list of Onepath acquisitions. The company, now backed by MSouth Equity Partners, acquired Internet & Telephone in May 2017.  The M&A deals align with Onepath's overall mission -- to be the "one source for all things to do with designing, deploying, and supporting technology – from cable to cloud."

Paradigm Computer Consulting is well-known to the Onepath team. To wit, Paradigm President Shawn Walsh and Onepath's Shoer have known each other for roughly 15 years. The duo ran in similar circles when Shoer owned Jenaly Technology Group, an IT services provider that I&T acquired in 2015.

During the early days of the business friendship, Walsh and Shoer traded emails discussing and celebrating revenue milestones for their respective companies. They also had similar commitments to learning and mentoring, joining such peer groups as Taylor Business Group.

Walsh remains engaged with Paradigm during the company's integration with Onepath. But he'll eventually transition out of the business as part of the overall M&A plan, Shoer says.
