Mailprotector has launched a new Partner Success team aimed at giving MSPs more hands-on support as email security becomes increasingly complex. The new division will provide MSP partners with customized onboarding, technical education and ongoing guidance as they deploy Mailprotector products and expand their email security services. The team will also work with established partners on areas such as technician training, complex email environments and adding services including encryption and email continuity.Mailprotector appointed Cody Ekle as director of partner success to lead the initiative. Ekle has more than 12 years of IT experience and has spent the past eight years at Mailprotector, including work focused on email security and the MSP market.“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to supporting an MSP,” Ekle said. “A new partner may need hands-on guidance getting started, while a longtime partner may be looking to expand what they offer or deepen their team’s expertise.”The launch follows continued growth in Mailprotector’s MSP business. The Greenville, South Carolina-based company said it recently reached 40 consecutive quarters of annual recurring revenue growth and is continuing to expand its email security portfolio. In a prepared statement, Mailprotector CEO David Setzer positioned the new team as an investment in helping partners keep pace with changes in both email threats and security technology.“Email security keeps evolving, and so do the needs of the MSPs responsible for protecting their customers,” Setzer said. “Partner Success is an investment in that relationship, giving our partners even greater access to people who understand not only their business but also this technology to help them stay prepared for what comes next.”For MSPs, the initiative reflects a broader operational challenge surrounding cybersecurity services: adding technology is only part of the equation. Providers also need to onboard tools efficiently, train technicians and turn new capabilities into services their customers understand and value. Mailprotector’s Partner Success team is designed to provide additional assistance across those areas as partners build out their email security practices.
