advancements to its AI Data Platform designed to unify data across environments and turn it into meaningful intelligence. The updates improve scalability, performance, and governance, helping organizations move from experimentation to production more confidently.
At the heart of this are Dell PowerScale and Dell ObjectScale, the platform’s core storage engines. PowerScale provides the high-performance NAS environment that AI workloads depend on, while ObjectScale delivers scalable, S3-native object storage for massive data volumes. Together, they give enterprises consistent, low-latency access to data across training, fine-tuning, and inferencing stages.
The latest PowerScale integration with NVIDIA GB200 and GB300 NVL72 architectures enhances GPU efficiency and simplifies management at scale. Meanwhile, ObjectScale is gaining a boost in performance and flexibility, most notably through a tech preview of S3 over RDMA, which promises higher throughput and lower latency for data-heavy AI operations. Dell has also introduced improved small-object performance and deeper AWS S3 integration to make data movement and compression more efficient.

Dell has also expanded its data engine capabilities - specialized tools that help organizations organize, query, and activate data in real time.
Developed in collaboration with Elastic and Starburst, these engines bridge structured and unstructured data to drive intelligent discovery and analytics. The new Data Search Engine allows teams to search billions of files through metadata-rich queries, supporting workflows like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and generative AI. The Data Analytics Engine goes a step further, connecting spreadsheets, databases, and cloud warehouses while using an “agentic” layer powered by large language models to automate insights and embed AI directly into SQL workflows.
Dell’s deeper alignment with NVIDIA, Elastic, and Starburst also extends to its partner ecosystem. “Our collaboration with NVIDIA, Elastic, and Starburst enhances the Dell AI Data Platform’s ability to serve as a unified, turnkey solution for integrated AI deployments,” said Chhabra. “These partnerships equip channel partners with advanced tools to build, scale, and manage comprehensive AI solutions. By offering this unified platform, partners can simplify AI adoption for their customers, offering deployment, managed services, and consulting as part of a seamless experience.”
This broader ecosystem gives partners a competitive edge - allowing them to package Dell’s AI infrastructure, data management, and analytics capabilities into repeatable solutions that accelerate enterprise adoption. With GPU-accelerated search powered by NVIDIA cuVS, hybrid search capabilities, and built-in data governance, partners can offer customers scalable, secure, and compliant AI deployments that rival hyperscaler environments while maintaining control over data locality and sovereignty.

To support its growing partner base, Dell is rolling out new enablement and incentive programs designed to help partners position the AI Data Platform effectively.
