Chess Acquires UK’s The Telephone Number Company

UK technology services provider Chess acquired The Telephone Number Company (TTNC) to bolster the firm's small business reach and improve customer experience. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Chess Acquires UK's The Telephone Number Company

Chess was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Cheshire, UK. The company has around 300 employees and serves over 28,000 customers, from small business to large blue-chip enterprises and public sector organizations, according to the company's website. Chess’ product portfolio includes connectivity, cloud, digital and security solutions, including business broadband, telephony, and unified communications, as well as professional and managed services.

TTNC is a provider of end-to-end communication solutions, boasting the UK's most comprehensive range of telephone numbers, according to the company. Their services also include call management packages, cloud numbers, VoIP services, SIP trunks, call tracking and bespoke telephone answering services.
