1. Agreement management platform - Docusign is adding Intelligent Agreement Management services to its linecard, unveiling the Docusign IAM platform to help businesses of all kinds transform agreement data into insights and actions, accelerate contract review cycles, and boost productivity organization-wide, the company said.
2. Strategic alliance win - Cognizant has forged a strategic alliance with Shopify and Google Cloud to drive digital transformation and platform modernization for global retailers and brands. The alliance is focused on bringing together the power of Shopify's leading commerce platform, Google Cloud's core cloud infrastructure, and client delivery of Cognizant's retail industry advisory and technology implementation specialists.
3. New marketing boss - Cloud security and governance provider Egnyte has appointed Ryan J. Kam as chief marketing officer. Kam joins the company from LogicMonitor, and brings years of experience to the new role at Egnyte.
4. Cybersecurity drives accelerated BDR growth - The backup and disaster recovery market is growing quickly around the world because it’s become a necessary layer in cybersecurity. New data from Canalys shows that “remediation” managed services will grow by 145.7% this year. Canalys data also shows that 56% of partners are expecting double-digit growth in BDR in 2024.
5. RMM partnership - RMM provider Ceburu is partnering with tech solutions provider Acordis to further extend Ceburu’s RMM solution to the managed service provider market.
