And here are the people moves we've tracked during the week of August 25 to August 29.

NinjaOne names a new head of MSP partnerships: NinjaOne has appointed Paul Redding, a former MSP owner and longtime channel leader, to lead its global MSP partner strategy. Redding, who most recently served as senior vice president of channel marketing and community at CyberQP, brings decades of experience in cybersecurity and managed services. In the newly created role, he will focus on strengthening community connections, aligning product development with partner needs, and helping MSPs grow revenue by shifting the conversation from tools to business outcomes.

Simbian appoints new Global Vice President of Channel and Partnerships: Simbian has named Isaac Lujan as its new Global Vice President of Channel and Partnerships to drive worldwide partner growth and strengthen adoption of its AI security solutions. Lujan joins with a strong track record of building partner programs at LogRhythm and Hunters, where he expanded relationships with VARs, MSSPs, system integrators, and technology alliances.

Liongard appoints Chief Product Officer: Liongard has appointed Alexander (Alex) Quilter as Chief Product Officer, tasking him with leading the company’s product vision, strategy, and innovation. Quilter brings more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, and MSP-focused solutions, including leadership roles at YouTube, N-able, Tanium, Cisco, Lancope, and Qualys.

Mimecast appoints a new CISO: Mimecast has appointed Leslie Nielsen as Chief Information Security Officer. Nielsen most recently served as SVP and CISO at Klaviyo, where he guided the company through IPO readiness and helped scale it to $1.3 billion in revenue while strengthening its security posture. His background spans senior security leadership roles at Nuance Communications, SAP Concur, SuccessFactors, and IBM, as well as advisory work with Google’s CISO Cloud Advisory Board.

Apptega appoints CRO: Apptega has appointed Bob Layton as Chief Revenue Officer to lead the company’s go-to-market strategy and expand its partner ecosystem. Layton is an experienced channel leader with more than 20 years of experience. His background spans leadership roles at eSentire, Digital Defense, Alert Logic, and Pluribus Networks, where he built and scaled global sales and channel organizations.

KnowBe4 names a new CIO: KnowBe4 has appointed Joel Kemmerer as Chief Information Officer to lead its next phase of digital transformation and operational integration. Kemmerer brings 30+ years of IT leadership across N-able, SolarWinds, AMD, and others, with a track record in acquisition integration, modernization, and team enablement.
