Beachhead Solutions has integrated its security and compliance platform with ConnectWise PSA through the ConnectWise Invent Integration Program, bringing enforcement, monitoring, and proof of compliance closer to the center of how MSPs operate. Rather than treating compliance as a periodic reporting task, the integration is designed to help providers manage regulatory controls as a continuous service - aligned with the same workflows they already use to manage clients, devices, and security operations.
Turning compliance frameworks into operational controls
One of the biggest challenges MSPs face with compliance is not a lack of security tools, but the effort required to translate technical controls into regulatory language.
Cam Roberson, Vice President at Beachhead Solutions, told ChannelE2E, “The biggest challenge in compliance is translating myriad product names, acronyms, and functionality into the language of a framework, and then doing the same across multiple frameworks, each with different terminology and numbering for controls.”
BeachheadSecure for MSPs addresses this by mapping features directly to control requirements across ten major frameworks. Roberson notes that requirements are scored automatically, MSPs can set minimum thresholds, and alerts are generated when scores fall below those levels. “Remediation becomes straightforward, and reporting is a single button push,” he says. The largest time savings come from built-in guidance on compliance requirements, pre-mapped controls, automated alerts for underperforming controls, and instant, audit-ready reporting.
Moving compliance beyond checklists and spreadsheets
For many providers, compliance still lives outside core service workflows, often tracked in documents and revisited only during audits. Integrating Beachhead into ConnectWise PSA brings those activities into the same system MSPs already rely on to manage devices, tickets, and client services. The goal is to reduce context switching and make compliance something MSPs monitor continuously rather than episodically.
By embedding compliance status and reporting into everyday operations, MSPs can respond faster when controls slip and spend less time assembling reports under deadline pressure. This helps shift compliance from a reactive task to a managed discipline.
Packaging compliance as an ongoing managed service
Security services have become difficult to differentiate on price alone. Roberson sees compliance as a way for MSPs to move the conversation from cost to value. “The first stage is the initial documentation of compliance,” he says. MSPs capture how each client meets required controls, with BeachheadSecure features automatically mapped to the relevant frameworks. Any additional tools or processes, such as backups or employee training, can also be documented to create a complete, auditable baseline.
Once that baseline is established, compliance becomes a recurring service. “Our ComplianceEZ capability continuously monitors the client’s environment, alerting MSPs whenever controls fall below set thresholds,” Roberson explains. MSPs can remediate issues, adjust thresholds, and generate scheduled or on-demand reports that show compliance across frameworks. “This turns compliance from a one-off project into a continuous, revenue-generating offering.”
From visibility to proof inside the MSP platform
Many integrations stop at dashboards and alerts. Beachhead’s approach focuses on enforcement and proof, not just awareness. Roberson points out that compliance frameworks offer an objective way to measure security. “It’s not subjective or based on the claims of any software or hardware platform,” he says. Even for clients that are not formally regulated, enforcing a recognized framework demonstrates a measurable, provable security posture.
Compliance also requires persistence. “It’s not a one-time deal,” Roberson notes. Controls must be monitored, remediated when necessary, and maintained over time. Most importantly, MSPs must be able to prove compliance at any moment. By embedding those capabilities into ConnectWise PSA, Beachhead aims to make compliance easier to enforce, easier to document, and easier for MSPs to deliver as a core service rather than an add-on.
