Barracuda Networks Revamps Partner Program

Barracuda Networks, Inc. has announced enhancements to its Partner Success Program, targeting improvements in profitability for its partners and distributors. 

The program now includes revised compensation models, offering discounts and rebates for certain partners, alongside expanded access to technical training and certification courses, Barracuda said.

Key Updates to the Partner Program

The enhancements introduced by Barracuda are designed to support its network of global partners through:

  • Revised compensation models aimed at improving profitability for top-tier partners through new discounts and rebates, thereby offering more avenues to increase revenue.
  • Enhanced distribution strategies, with updated compensation models that are intended to foster long-term business growth, improve partners' ability to attract new customers, and enhance business security.
  • Expanded sales and technical training, granting access to new technical certification courses and an increase in technical resources. This expansion aims to simplify partner engagement with tools like the Barracuda Email Threat Scanner by providing customizable, trackable links and detailed reporting on customer scans.

The program also introduces a new Premier-level rebate for top-tier partners, aligning with the customer success framework of the LAER model, which stands for land, adoption, expansion, and retention and renewal. 

This initiative aims to incentivize partners for their performance in various key areas, including customer acquisition and product adoption, the company said.
