Atos Acquires Google Cloud Partner Maven Wave

French IT consulting giant Atos has acquired Maven Wave, a Top 200 Public Cloud MSP for 2019 and close Google Cloud Platform partner based in Chicago, Illinois. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Maven Wave specializes in enterprise digital transformation, cloud-based applications, data analytics, and machine learning for hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.

The acquisition strengthens Atos’ presence in North America, already its largest region.

Founded in 2008, Maven Wave has more than 330 employees and will generate around $130 million in revenues in 2019, according to Atos. The company holds eight Google Cloud Partner Specializations in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud Migration, Application Development, Infrastructure, Location-based Services, Enterprise Collaboration and Marketing Analytics.

In April 2018, Atos and Google Cloud announced a partnership to accelerate the creation of secure hybrid cloud solutions, data analysis, and machine learning. The partnership involved opening AI labs in diverse cities including London, Dallas, Munich, and Paris. The Maven Wave acquisition strengthens the operation in more than 20 cities where the partnership operates, the company said.

Atos also has a close working relationship with Dell Technologies.
