Amplix, founded in 2011, is based in Norwood, Massachusetts. The company has 63 associated members listed on LinkedIn. Amplix's areas of expertise include unified communications, cloud optimization and SD-WAN.

TNS, founded in 2005, is based in Chichester, New Hampshire. The company is not currently listed on LinkedIn. TNS's areas of expertise include IT technology and optimization.

What the Acquisition Means for Amplix and TNS

TNS customers can now access Amplix's enhanced IT platform and capabilities and client success team, Amplix CEO Joe DeStefano said. Furthermore, Amplix will provide new advisory categories to TNS customers.

Meanwhile, Amplix provides TNS with "tremendous growth opportunities," TNS co-founders Pete Holtman and John Beggan said in a joint statement. The businesses will work together to support their joint customers and help them get the most value out of their respective offerings.

Amplix Expands Its US Presence

The TNS acquisition comes after Amplix in October 2023 purchased nQuery Communications, which offers unified communications, IT and cybersecurity services and business internet and contact services in Florida. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

nQuery bolsters Amplix's presence in Florida, DeStefano stated. Amplix is also working with nQuery to "enhance the technology investment returns for [its] combined base of valued customers," DeStefano said.

For nQuery, the Amplix acquisition "aligns seamlessly" with its commitment to delivering value to its customers, founder Emilio Diaz noted. In addition, nQuery will continue to provide services that complement Amplix's platform.

Amplix Continues to Add to Its Portfolio

Previously, Amplix in May 2023 bought the technology advisory practice of Intervale Technologies, which offers cloud, IT and managed services. This acquisition provides Amplix with technology advisory services that it is using to enhance its platform, the company indicated.

Amplix offers technology advisory, consulting, implementation and managed services to more than 3,500 customers across the United States. It also partners with technology providers and may continue to explore acquisition opportunities.
