Accenture Acquires Comtech Group

Accenture has announced the acquisition of Comtech Group, a consulting and program management firm specializing in infrastructure projects across Canada and the United States. Financial information about the deal was not disclosed.

Comtech Group, established in 1994, is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company has 279 employees listed on LinkedIn. Comtech’s expertise includes consulting and program management for large, long-term infrastructure projects spanning various sectors, including transportation, industrial manufacturing, and power and utilities. 

Expanding Capital Projects Capabilities

With offices in both Canada and the United States, Comtech Group offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing construction management, facility and manufacturing engineering, and process control automation.

Accenture's acquisition of Comtech Group is a strategic move to extend its capital projects capabilities in Canada, complementing the services obtained through the recent acquisition of Anser Advisory, according to the company. 

This expansion enhances Accenture’s ability to offer end-to-end support for complex infrastructure projects, from structuring and planning to execution and monitoring, the company said.
