6. Sales Quoting and Proposal Software: QuoteWerks, a sales quoting and proposal software platform from Aspire, now integrates with QuickBooks Online. QuoteWerks typically competes with ConnectWise Sell (formerly Quosal). The first QuoteWerks customer conference is scheduled for February.

Funding - APM: Unravel Data, which develops an Application Performance Management (APM) platform designed for Big Data, has secured $15 million in Series B financing led by GGV Capital, with Microsoft Ventures and Menlo Ventures also participating. 3. Carbonite Channel Changes: Carbonite Channel Chief Jon Whitlock has exited the company. The cloud- and appliance-based data protection firm is reworking its channel and marketing organizations, according to CRN. Whitlock's exit is the latest in a growing list of channel tweaks under Carbonite CEO Mohamad Ali. The company is expected to announce quarterly results on February 13. We'll be listening closely to the earnings announcement for clues about Carbonite's channel milestones...
