13. Epic Fail: Uber's Chief People Officer Liane Hornsey resigned in an email to staff on Tuesday, following an investigation into how she handled allegations of racial discrimination at the ride-hailing firm, Reuters says.

12. Huawei Ban?: Australia is preparing to ban Huawei Technologies from supplying equipment for its planned 5G broadband network after its intelligence agencies raised concerns that Beijing could force the Chinese telco to hand over sensitive data, this report says.

11. Massive Google Fine?: The European Union is planning to issue a “multibillion” fine, perhaps more than two billion Euros, against the company’s Google unit after concluding that Google “illegally abused the dominance of its Android operating system,” Barron's notes.

10. European Cloud Services: Chinese Internet giant Alibaba is reportedly in talks with BT to offer its cloud services in the UK, The Standard reports. Alibaba is increasingly viewed as a major rival to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

9. SD-WAN Partnership: Network performance orchestration specialist InfoVista and cybersecurity specialist Fortinet are partnering to deliver a "best-in-class secure and application-aware SD-WAN in a single hardware solution," the two companies assert.

8. Secure WiFi Partnership: Mosaic NetworX and Mojo Networks have partnered to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-managed WiFi solutions, the two companies say.

7. Data ApplianceDell EMC has unveiled a new Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA), the Dell EMC IDPA DP4400. It provides converged data protection for mid-size organizations, the company says.

6. Oracle Managed Services: Zenzar Technologies now offers managed services for both Oracle and third-party workloads running on Oracle Cloud Platform.

5. Google Chromebook Management: Faronics has released Chromebook MDM, a set of mobile device management (MDM) tools specifically designed for Chrome OS systems. The service supports group device policy controls and content filtering for search, websites and YouTube.

3. Managed Services Bundle: TPx Communications has unveiled a TPx Complete managed service bundle that spans Unified Communications, Managed IT and Security and Managed Connectivity solutions.
