Legal Feud: A federal grand jury Thursday indicted former Autonomy CEO Michael Lynch and another former top executive on fraud charges, alleging they lied about the British software company's financials before Hewlett-Packard acquired the business, Law360 reports. Attorneys for Lynch insist he is innocent, and allege that HP mismanaged Autonomy's business after the acquisition.

9. AT&T Asset Sales?: AT&T has vowed to cut up to $20 billion in debt in 2019, according to a statement on Thursday. The company, which recently acquired AlienVault, could sell off non-core assets such as its stake in streaming video company Hulu, Reuters speculates.

8. Dell Quarterly Financial Results: Dell's Q3 revenues for fiscal 2019 reached $22.5 billion, up up 15 percent from the corresponding quarter last year. The company had a net loss of $895 million in Q3 fiscal 2019, a bit larger than the $851 million net loss in the corresponding quarter last year. Michael Dell is preparing to return Dell Technologies to public markets.

7. VMware Quarterly Financial Results: VMware's revenues were $2.2 billion in Q3 fiscal 2019, up 14 percent from the corresponding quarter last year. Net income actually slipped a bit, though, to $334 million -- down from $395 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

3. IoT Toolkit: Verizon has launched an Internet of Things (IoT) development toolkit. It involves Verizon’s ThingSpace platform and Amazon FreeRTOS.
