SAP NS2 Acquires Government Systems Integrator TMA

SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) has acquired Technology Management Associates (TMA) for an undisclosed sum.

TMA is a signals intelligence and engineering services contractor in the government sector. The company  also offers a range of IT consulting, systems integration and project management services. Key areas of focus include IT security, enterprise networking, systems administration and systems engineering.

TMA's team includes certified professionals focused on Amazon Web Services, Cisco Systems, Red Hat, Oracle and Java. The company also employs ethical hackers.

SAP NS2 Business Focus

SAP NS2 provides software and support services for US national security and critical infrastructure customers. The company is 100 percent U.S.-based, staffed by U.S. citizens and physically located on U.S. soil. But the firm leverages SAP’s in-memory analytic platform and suite of business applications to assist the U.S. national security community.

SAP NS2 says TMA will strengthen its position within the intelligence community while bolstering its ability to deliver platforms to the federal government. Going forward, TMA will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAP NS2. TMA previously had an ESOP ownership model.

The acquisition closed April 30, 2018, and was supported by KippsDeSanto and Holland and Knight representing TMA and Cooley LLP representing SAP NS2.
