Rahi Systems Acquires MSP, NOC and Data Center Expertise

Global enterprise IT solutions provider Rahi Systems of Freemont, California, has acquired an MSP and a data center infrastructure solutions provider. The deals involve Serro LLC of Freemont, California, and PiTek of Australia, the companies confirmed today. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Serro's expertise includes network design, automation, orchestration and cloud infrastructure. The company's Network Operations Center (NOC) offers 24x7 managed services.

In a prepared statement, Rahi CEO Tarun Raisoni said: "Serro has a team of talented engineers who can deliver this unique value to our customers. We are very excited to expand upon our ability to build secure, reliable and scalable networks.”

Meanwhile, Australia-based PiTek offers data center solutions for raised floors, structural ceilings, electrical distribution busways and airflow management, along with racks, cabinets and aisle-containment products. PiTek founder Tony Khoury is now GM for Rahi Systems Australia.

Referring to this deal, Raisoni said: “PiTek’s solutions will complement our current offering of racks, cabinets, cooling units, cabling, components and accessories, enabling us to bring a broader array of solutions to customers around the world.”

Rahi Systems: Additional Acquisitions

Rahi Systems has extensive M&A experience. The company previously acquired Thresher Communication and Productivity, and CMA (Computer Maintenance Agency) in August 2018.

Thresher offers audio/visual solutions. The company had 10 engineers and 30 field technicians on staff at the time of the deal.

By contrast, CMA offers hardware and software support to customers in India. At the time of the deal, CMA had 110 field service representatives that specialized in edge devices, midrange and enterprise services, storage, networking and legacy IT equipment.

Rahi's overall model involves consulting, professional, logistics and managed services, the company said at the time of the CMA and Thresher deals.
