Syncro has introduced a new Universal Billing feature aimed at helping MSPs address a persistent pain point: billing gaps tied to third-party licenses, reports Channel Insider.. The update pulls license data from Syncro Marketplace vendors and automatically integrates it into recurring invoices, minimizing the chance of human error and missed revenue. The initial rollout supports Proofpoint, with plans to expand to the full Marketplace catalog by year-end.The core functionality centers on syncing daily license usage to customer accounts, enabling automated and accurate billing. That means no more reconciling spreadsheets or digging through vendor reports to ensure charges are correct. For MSPs juggling dozens of services, it’s a clear efficiency gain that can immediately recover revenue otherwise lost to billing inaccuracies.Beyond automation, Universal Billing is designed to simplify backend operations. Syncro says the tool reduces the admin hours spent chasing down billing mismatches, lowers the risk of over- or undercharging clients, and improves the reliability of invoices as customer license counts shift month to month. It’s a backend enhancement with direct implications for revenue health. This launch follows Syncro’s earlier debut of Extended Monitoring Management (XMM), which brings Microsoft 365 cloud management into its PSA/RMM platform. Together, the two updates signal Syncro’s continued focus on unifying billing, monitoring, and cloud operations for MSPs in one platform.
