Refold AI Targets the Cost of Enterprise Integrations

APIs

Refold AI has come out of stealth with $6.5 million in seed funding to address one of the most persistent and costly problems in enterprise software: keeping APIs connected and functioning. Large organizations spend hundreds of billions each year on systems integrators and consultancies to manage these connections, often through manual and ticket-driven processes. Refold is aiming to replace that model with AI-native infrastructure that learns and adapts to changing systems without human intervention.

The platform uses autonomous agents to handle integrations between systems like ERP and CRM applications, finance automation tools, and supply chain platforms. These agents generate and maintain integration code, monitor for changes, and adjust automatically. This approach removes the need for dedicated middleware or large integration teams, turning what are often one-off service projects into repeatable, productized solutions.

Refold’s architecture has three layers designed for different roles inside the enterprise. Workflow Code Agents give engineering teams a faster way to create and maintain integration logic. MCP Chains let business teams describe desired outcomes in natural language and receive working workflows in return. An Embedded Integrations Platform provides SaaS teams with prebuilt UI components to offer native integrations directly inside their products. Together, they aim to shorten deployment cycles from months to days.

With more than 30 paying enterprise customers already onboard, Refold is processing over 30 million API calls per month and generating seven-figure annual recurring revenue. The company is now focused on expanding its catalog of integrations and making deployment as frictionless as possible, positioning itself as the underlying logic layer for enterprise AI stacks.
