Pentera Expands Into AI Red Teaming with EVA Acquisition

Pentera has acquired EVA Information Security, a firm known for its AI-focused red teaming and penetration testing services. The move signals Pentera’s push to address the emerging security risks of AI infrastructure and applications, which are becoming an integral part of enterprise systems. The acquisition gives Pentera customers a way to test and validate the resilience of AI-integrated environments using both automated validation and human-led adversarial testing.

EVA’s capabilities in AI infrastructure and application red teaming will integrate with Pentera’s automated security validation platform, extending its reach into AI-specific threat scenarios. This includes testing AI models, APIs, and interfaces for potential abuse, misconfiguration, or privilege escalation—issues that traditional pentesting often overlooks. By incorporating these services, Pentera is positioning itself to help organizations understand and mitigate risks unique to the AI ecosystem.

The acquisition also strengthens Pentera’s value for channel partners offering pentesting and compliance services. EVA’s “Test & Comply” model adds expert-led assessments that complement Pentera’s continuous validation, giving partners a way to deliver both automation-driven and bespoke testing under one umbrella. This unified approach helps streamline how customers validate their environments—from on-prem and cloud to AI workloads.

EVA’s experience in full-scope red teaming, including black-box emulation of complete attack chains, adds another layer to Pentera’s capabilities. With the two companies combined, enterprises can now simulate adversarial behavior across traditional IT and AI systems alike, validating not only security controls but also the readiness of their evolving digital landscape.
