Opkey Targets the Design Phase of Cloud Implementations With Agentic AI

Opkey has expanded its Cloud Application Lifecycle Management platform with Design Studio, a set of agentic-AI capabilities aimed at automating the discovery and design stages of enterprise application programs. The release focuses on a part of the implementation cycle that often slows projects down and introduces cost overruns, especially in large Oracle and Workday transformations. By connecting statement-of-work creation, requirements gathering, process modeling and configuration in a single workflow, the platform creates a continuous thread from presales through delivery.

The approach is built on a domain-specific model trained on large volumes of enterprise application data and delivered through a set of lifecycle-aligned AI agents. These agents generate SOWs, run structured discovery through digital questionnaires, produce BPMN-compliant process maps, validate designs against system requirements and push approved designs directly into configuration with unit testing and governance controls. Systems integrators run the model in an isolated environment and can train it on their own delivery methodologies and intellectual property, which ties the output to their operating model rather than a generic template.

For services firms, the impact is primarily operational. Automating documentation, requirements traceability and configuration reduces the amount of manual, FTE-heavy work that typically absorbs functional and technical consultants. That shifts more project time toward advisory, change management and business process alignment. It also makes timelines more predictable, which affects how deals are scoped, priced and staffed.
