Nerdio Expands Microsoft Cloud Tools for MSPs

Nerdio has launched Nerdio Manager for MSP 7.0, adding new assessment, PSA, compliance, and reporting features for managed service providers building Microsoft cloud practices. The release comes as Nerdio reports increased MSP adoption across Microsoft 365, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop. The company said its MSP user base grew more than 100% in 2025, while Microsoft 365 users on Nerdio Manager for MSP increased more than 300% year over year.

With Microsoft cloud work spreading across more tenants, tools, and service lines, many providers are no longer managing only virtual desktop environments. They are also handling Microsoft 365 administration, security settings, compliance policies, cost controls, and client reporting. That creates more service opportunities, but it also adds technician workload if each tenant has to be managed separately.

Nerdio Manager for MSP 7.0 is designed to centralize more of that work. The new prospect tenant assessment wizard scans a potential customer’s Microsoft 365 environment, identifies security gaps and inefficiencies, and creates an assessment report MSPs can use in the sales process. The release also adds integrations with Datto Autotask PSA, ConnectWise PSA and Halo PSA, giving MSPs a way to connect Nerdio workflows with systems they already use to run service delivery.

The compliance and reporting additions may be just as important for MSPs trying to show ongoing value to customers. Nerdio said the 7.0 release includes Microsoft Purview solution baselines so providers can manage and apply compliance policies across Microsoft 365 environments. A new reporting engine covers Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Azure, with reports around cost, usage, performance and compliance.
