IntelliGRC Raises $3.5M to Expand Compliance Platform for MSPs

IntelliGRC has raised $3.5 million in seed funding to expand its governance, risk, and compliance platform designed for managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs). The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, expand AI capabilities, and grow its go-to-market efforts. The goal is to help service providers deliver governance, risk, and compliance as a service (GRCaaS) at scale.

The Fairfax, Virginia-based company focuses on building compliance tools specifically for the service provider model. Its platform is designed as a multi-tenant environment that allows MSPs and MSSPs to manage compliance programs for multiple customers at the same time. The platform is intended to support organizations operating in regulated sectors, including companies working with the U.S. Defense Industrial Base and those preparing for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.

IntelliGRC’s platform integrates AI-driven automation across the compliance lifecycle, including evidence collection, control mapping, monitoring, and remediation workflows. The system also includes an intelligent control library and asset-centric data modeling designed to help service providers standardize compliance services across different frameworks and customers. The approach is meant to reduce the dependence on scarce GRC specialists while allowing providers to package compliance management as a repeatable service offering.

The funding round was co-led by Blu Ventures and Huntress co-founder Kyle Hanslovan, with participation from investors across the MSP and cybersecurity ecosystem. IntelliGRC said the investment will support additional platform integrations, expanded automation capabilities, and growth in sales and customer success teams. The company also plans to invest in partner education and enablement programs aimed at helping MSPs operationalize compliance services for regulated industries.
