Integris plans to acquire First Focus, an MSP that serves small and midsize businesses across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. If completed, it would expand Integris’ geographic reach and add a regional MSP business with nearly 400 employees and more than 800 customers.First Focus provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, software development, and support services. For Integris, that adds both delivery capacity and local market experience in Australia and New Zealand. The company said First Focus will continue operating with its existing leadership team while the two organizations begin integration planning after a definitive agreement is signed. The deal comes as MSPs serving SMBs face rising demand for broader technology support, especially around cybersecurity, cloud operations, and AI adoption. Many SMB customers now need help managing infrastructure and security across distributed teams and multiple regions. That creates pressure on MSPs to offer more than local IT support, while still keeping service delivery close to the customer. For the channel, the acquisition shows how MSP consolidation is moving beyond customer count alone. Integris is using M&A to add regional presence, service depth, and cross-border support capabilities. If the deal closes, the larger question will be how well Integris can integrate First Focus without weakening the local service model that SMB customers depend on.
