CompassMSP acquires Logic Group

CompassMSP has acquired The Logic Group, a Philadelphia-based managed IT and cybersecurity services provider that works with small and midsize businesses across the region. The deal expands CompassMSP’s Mid-Atlantic presence and adds a local team with experience serving customers in manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and franchise businesses.

The Logic Group has operated for more than 20 years and has built its business around managed IT, cybersecurity, and hands-on support for SMB customers. For CompassMSP, the acquisition adds more local coverage in Philadelphia while bringing in a customer base that includes regulated and operationally complex industries.

The deal also fits into CompassMSP’s broader push to build a larger managed IT and cybersecurity platform with regional service teams. The company has been expanding through acquisitions, including its earlier deal for New Jersey-based Simplegrid Technology and its combination with BlackPoint IT. Those moves point to a strategy focused on national scale, vertical expertise, and more consistent service delivery across markets.

For The Logic Group’s customers, the deal gives them access to CompassMSP’s wider cybersecurity, compliance, and managed services resources while keeping the local support model in place. For CompassMSP, the acquisition strengthens its position in the Tri-state area and gives the company another foothold with SMB customers that need IT support, security services, and industry-specific guidance under one provider.
