Another MSP acquisition has surfaced. This deal involves Trivalent Group buying KI Technology Group. The deal essentially expands Trivalent's presence into mid-Michigan, notes Grand Rapids Business Journal.

Trivalent Group of Grandville, Mich., has multiple offices across the region. The company, led by CEO Larry Andrus, offers a mix of managed and cloud services, along with professional services. The company's roots date back to 1971, and the business now has 80 employees and 600 customers, according to the Grand Rapids newspaper.

KI Technology is located in East Lansing, Mich. and is led by Linda Lynch, a computer programmer by training. She acquired an ownership interest in the company in 1990 and has been the company's president since 1992, according to her company biography.

ChannelE2e has reached out to Trivalent and KI Technology for more details about the deal, key near-term priorities, and long-term strategies. Special thanks to Thomas Fox, CEO of Tech Experts, for mentioning the deal to us. Stay tuned for updates.

This is the second MSP-oriented M&A deal we've covered today. The other involves ESW acquiring ITnorth for a Western Canada push. Dozens of MSPs, VARs and cloud services providers (CSPs) have been acquired since the start of 2016. For an ongoing look at all the deals, visit here.
