IBM, Juniper and Dell channel veteran Frank Vitagliano has joined Computex Technology Solutions as president and CEO. Virgaliano succeeds Computex Co-Founder Jason Haffar, who is retiring as CEO and shifting to the company's board.
Vitagliano exited Dell Technologies several weeks ago after Dell completed the buyout of EMC. His working relationship with Computex began 15 years ago with IBM and has been ongoing.
Computex Technology Solutions (formerly Stratos Management Systems) launched in 1987. Brothers Sam and Jason Haffar built the company into a well-known IT solutions provider with at least seven locations nationwide. In recent years the company has acquired Houston-based Computex and ENeT Solutions, and Minneapolis-based Nexus Information Systems. The net result is an IT solutions company with a strong portfolio of managed, cloud and unified communications services.
Vitagliano: Experience, Relationships, Leadership
“Frank’s industry knowledge, working relationships and leadership experience are exactly what we were looking for and more in a president and CEO,” said Jason Haffar, in a prepared statement. “Under Frank’s leadership, we will expand Computex’s footprint, break into new markets and technologies and continue to invest in our internal operational excellence, customer service experience and IT specializations including cloud, managed services, networking, security and software-defined networking.”
Vitagliano will focus Computex on the so-called strategic IT service provider opportunity -- leveraging IT to help customers gain competitive advantages.
