6. Dell Channel Momentum: Cheryl Cook, VP of global channels and alliances at Dell Technologies, shared several Q1 partner milestones during a ChannelE2E briefing yesterday. Among the biggest takeaways: The new Dell EMC partner program generated more than 6,000 new customer engagements in Q1. But that's not all. Dell EMC also hit a range of milestones across its hardware, cloud and financing businesses. We'll share more details soon.
5. Storage Guardian: Storage Guardian, which offers business continuity solutions for MSPs, has unveiled real-time data recovery analytics for ConnectWise Automate and ConnectWise Manage partners who take advantage of Storage Guardian solutions to protect their critical business data.
4. Government Technology: President Donald Trump on Monday called for a “sweeping transformation of the federal government’s technology,” beginning his push to update the dated inner workings of Washington that drew some praise — and then some public requests — from the top tech executives at Apple, Amazon, Google and Microsoft, Recode reported. The comments officially concluded the inaugural meeting of the White House’s American Technology Council, a new effort chartered by Trump in May to bring the lumbering federal bureaucracy into the digital age, the report said.
3. Managed Enterprise Cloud Services: Netmagic, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a major MSP in India, has embraced Nutanix for hyberconverged infrastructure (HCI). The partnership enables Netmagic to offer private cloud Services built upon the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform, to customers who either run their own datacenters or using Netmagic’s dedicated datacenters based in India. This Nutanix's second major MSP win in recent months, The other involved FirstNet Solutions.
