Two California-based IT providers, each a Cisco Systems partner, have merged into one entity.

The combination of CIO Solutions and TekTegrity will bring IT management and consulting services to Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Fresno Counties while operating under the CIO Solutions brand, the companies said. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The new combined entity will be one of the largest IT providers in Central California with nearly 100 employees, the firm asserted.

CIO Solutions CEO Eric Egolf will retain his position at the head of the table while focusing on strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and community engagement. TekTegrity co-founder and CEO Russ Levanway will oversee operations and integration of the combined company from his new role as president.

Egolf assures that TekTegrity clients will benefit from new cloud computing services and “a fanatical focus on first-call resolution.” Levanway, meanwhile, says the two company’s combined forces complement one another.

CIO Solutions has operated for 32 years in the Central Coast region. TekTegrity was founded in 2005.
