ChannelE2E's Top 100 Public Cloud MSPs 2018 list and research findings remains one of our top weekly reads. The list identifies leading MSPs in the Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystems.
- Market Size: The overall global managed services market now spans more than 80,000 MSPs. However, fewer than 500 of those MSPs are extensively certified to support AWS, Azure and/or GCP workloads, ChannelE2E’s research concluded.
- Geography: The Top 100 Public Cloud MSPs are based in 22 different countries.
- Platforms: 68 of the Top 100 Public Cloud MSPs focus on AWS; 43 focus on Azure; and 30 focus on Google Cloud Platform. Most of the MSPs on the list expect to focus on more than one platform by 2020; many already do so.
- Public Cloud Triple Play: Dozens of the MSPs on the list focus on both AWS and Azure, but only six of the Top 100 Public Cloud MSPs were honored across all three platforms.
