SecurityBridge has acquired CyberSafe, a UK-based company with deep expertise in enterprise authentication, to enhance identity security across SAP landscapes. The deal integrates CyberSafe’s TrustBroker® suite into the SecurityBridge platform, enabling customers to move beyond static login credentials and toward adaptive, risk-aware authentication across the SAP technology stack.

Context-Driven Access for SAP Workflows

While SAP includes basic identity controls, many organizations still rely heavily on passwords, leaving critical systems exposed to credential-based attacks. CyberSafe has spent over 30 years developing authentication tools tailored to SAP environments. Its TrustBroker solutions provide secure single sign-on (SSO), policy-based multi-factor authentication (MFA), and step-up authentication (SUA), supporting identity providers such as Microsoft Entra MFA, Okta, PingID, and others.

With TrustBroker now part of the SecurityBridge platform, customers can enforce dynamic authentication policies based on real-time context. When a user logs in after an extended absence, from a new device, or outside their usual working hours, the platform can require additional verification. It can also react to unusual behavior, such as shared device usage or patterns that deviate from a user’s historical activity. These decisions are informed by real-time SAP telemetry from SecurityBridge, allowing TrustBroker to respond to actual risk signals, not just static policies.

Stronger Identity Controls Without Added Complexity

This acquisition also simplifies integration for customers. TrustBroker already works with Microsoft Active Directory and existing enterprise infrastructure, so businesses can expand SAP authentication without overhauling their identity architecture. The TrustBroker tools will continue to be available as standalone offerings, but their value increases when embedded in SecurityBridge’s SAP-native platform. That platform already provides threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance visibility across SAP systems, and now, it includes identity-aware access control as well.

As more companies modernize their SAP environments and adopt cloud-first strategies, identity security is becoming a top priority. The combination of SecurityBridge and CyberSafe helps close a longstanding gap in SAP security: the need for authentication that’s flexible, contextual, and intelligent.
