Share

Lenovo and Cisco are teaming up to provide AI-powered digital transformation services to enterprises.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding that will extend networking and AI infrastructure solutions to global customers, agreeing to jointly design, engineer, and execute the plans to get their clients “from edge to cloud.”

Strategic Partnership Goals

The partnership will focus on delivering a complete digital workplace, cloud networking, and hybrid AI infrastructure solutions.

"The integrated solutions from Lenovo and Cisco will streamline operational deployment and significantly enhance business outcomes for our shared customers, as well as provide tremendous opportunities for our joint partners," said Jonathan Davidson, executive vice president and general manager, Cisco Networking.

Integration of Cisco Nexus Networking Ecosystem

A cornerstone of the collaboration involves integrating the Cisco Nexus networking ecosystem into Lenovo's edge-to-cloud portfolio. This integration will deliver high network performance, enhanced security, and scalability, according to the companies.

In a joint press release, the companies said that customers will benefit from:

  • Accelerated time-to-innovation through operational excellence and advanced automation analytics.
  • A single interface for network operations management across the ecosystem.
  • Simplified vendor interactions by providing a fully engineered infrastructure solution from a single technology provider.

Enhancing Digital Workplace Solutions and Expanding AI Capabilities

Lenovo and Cisco will also integrate new technologies into Lenovo Digital Workplace Solutions. This will enhance user experiences and security by combining Lenovo's Care of One platform and Cisco's technology, the companies said.

The partnership will also leverage Lenovo’s AI-enabled portfolio and Cisco’s networking capabilities to enhance generative AI solutions for enterprise customers.
